Created by armorer Shinko (眞甲), this kabuto helmet honors the legacy of the legendary warlord Takeda Shingen. Each detail reflects the precision of traditional Japanese craftsmanship, from the sharply contoured horns to the lacquered fittings that recall battlefield valor.
The bold silver-toned dragon-faced crest conveys strength and protection, while the golden patterned fukikaeshi (ear guards) are adorned with fine brocade to signify prosperity and authority. The polished black base with silver accents doubles as a storage box, complementing the dignified presence of this Boys’ Festival display piece.
This kabuto requires only simple assembly, with the crest and cords arranged easily for display. The set includes the lacquered storage base (Ohitsu-style), silver decorative cords, and an authenticity plaque inscribed with “武田信玄.” An impressive centerpiece for Kodomo no Hi celebrations, private collections, or as a refined interior statement.
