Description
Crafted from a lightweight, breathable blend of 50% cotton and 50% linen, this elegant scarf (50 x 170 cm) combines traditional Amami Oshima mud dyeing (Dorozome) with natural indigo dyeing (Aizome). Featuring a cloud-like marble tie-dye pattern in rich indigo blues and subtle earth greys, it is finished with twisted fringe ends for a classic, artisan look. The cotton-linen weave offers a crisp yet gentle texture, perfect for year-round styling.
About the Craft (Mud & Indigo Tie-Dye)
Hand-dyed by skilled artisans in Japan, this scarf achieves its nuanced hues through a multi-step natural dyeing process using mineral-rich mud and botanical dyes. Because each scarf is individually tie-dyed by hand, no two pieces feature the exact same pattern distribution.

Care Instructions
Please hand wash this item gently.
As this item is hand-dyed with natural mud and indigo dyes, please observe the following precautions:
• Do NOT Tumble Dry: Do not use a tumble dryer, as heat and mechanical action may cause shrinkage, fabric damage, or uneven fading.
• Color Transfer Warning: Be cautious of potential color bleeding or transfer. Avoid rubbing against light-colored garments or accessories, especially when wet or damp.
• Washing: Gently hand wash separately in cold or lukewarm water using a neutral/delicate detergent free of bleach and fluorescent whitening agents.
• Drying: Gently squeeze out excess water without wringing, reshape, and line dry in the shade away from direct sunlight.
• Aging: The rich natural tones will soften gracefully over time with wear and delicate washing.
*Please Note: Due to the 100% manual tie-dyeing process, each piece features unique pattern variations and subtle color shifts compared to the images.
